Multi-culturalism is just a form of racism by another name:

Reading "Making colonies out of nation-states" by Paul Craig Roberts, has inspired me into add some commentary to what he had to say about immigration today in Britain and America.

Who among us can imagine any country around the world who would tolerate a foreign population crossing their borders to gather in such large non assimilating numbers that they become the majority population in many areas and through continued immigration, both legal and illegal, would like to become the majority population of entire States within the country. Would that not be viewed as colonization by a foreign population when these immigrants refuse to assimulate?

Can anybody imagine the howls of protest around the world if Caucasians from Europe or America moved in LARGE non assimilating numbers to Asia, South America, or the Middle East seeking jobs and land to raise families in their own culture separate from that of the land they moved to? They would be condemned and vilified by the likes of both the UN and a chorus of nation states around the world. Why the double standard for multi-culturalists who accuse caucasians of racism in the past, yet they do not say the same for others in reverse?

By encouraging immigration and non-assimilation it is the 'multi-culturalists' here in America and Europe that are racists today teaching the opposite creed of MLK. Everything for them is about the color of skin and ethnicity rather than the content of character. They are all about quotas by race, ethnic group, and sexual orientation rather than open and even competition. Whereever you look the multi-culturalists seek to divide America by race and various sub-groups rather than take the best from each culture as it blends into the American melting pot.

The bottom line, multi-culturalism is just a form of racism as defined by pro-multiculturalists' own actions condemning past WESTERN immigrants to foreign lands.

Now there will be those who will point to caucasian liberals and say what of them, are they racists too?

I would answer this: No, not racists, but fools who would assist in the Balkanization of America and Britain in order to help soothe their feelings of guilt for past injustices toward minorities. Fools who know little or nothing about the world's past history of immigration being a breeding ground for conflict when the immigrating population refuses to assimilate.

The folks who actively push the multi-cultural agenda in the US and Europe today are by no coincidence the same 'it's always America's fault, let me list the reasons to hate America crowd'.

In my view, past caucasian incursions and colonizations of foreign lands were not so much a racist act, but the act at the time of non-assimilating expanding invaders into militarily weak territories who did so wishing to enrich themselves through the foreign land's assets, including profiting from the labors of the current inhabitants.

When large numbers of immigrants come to American or Britain, refuse to assimilate, keep to themselves, cling to their native language, and seek out benefits they could not attain at home from the labors of the citizen's of their new land, how is it that they cannot be considered a creeping tide of invaders actively seeking immediate financial gain (free medical care and education) at the expense of the native Americans, British, Dutch, etc?

Could the Caucasian colonists of times past have been racists? Of course they could have been and I'm sure many were. That however would not be a motivation for colonization. The real motivation of past colonists would have been to seek out financial gain, not racism. It is the pursuit of financial gain that overcomes the racists inclination to disassociate with those races whom he/she has negative feelings for. The difference today is that the creeping tide of non-assimilating colonists coming to Britain and America today actively seek their 'IMMEDIATE' financial gain through the overly generous pockets of American and British taxpayers. When a native born American or Brit ventures into some of these new planted colonist enclaves who refuse to assimilate within their countries, what do they often encounter? Racism. Why? Because even racists that hate caucasians will move to a caucasian majority land if the opportunity to gain financially sufficiently overrides their racism.

Past (pre 1960's) immigrants to America didn't need taxpayer support upon arrival on our shores. It is the self sufficient that should be encouraged to immigrate to America, not those who look FIRST for the handout.

It is time for immigration reform. The diversity immigration lottery needs to come to an end. Bush's talk of granting amnesty to illegals just so much foolishness that will only encourage future illegal immigration.

That immigration needs to be reduced and offered only to foreign nationals who have historically shown their willingness to assimilate should be obvious to most. The real question is when will enough people grow enough backbone to do something about it?

Cal Thomas makes a point about our national motto that's worth commenting on:

Our national motto, E pluribus unum ("out of many, one,") no longer applies.

Will the multi-culturalists (aka Balkanists) soon be clamoring to remove this motto from our coins? They should if they're consistent, because their agenda runs completely counter to the founding ideals of America.

Clinton's Naked Face?....Interesting thoughts from an expert in facial expression upon first seeing Clinton in 1992:

Ekman recalls the first time he saw Bill Clinton, during the 1992 Democratic primaries. "I was watching his facial expressions, and I said to my wife, 'This is Peck's Bad Boy,' " Ekman says. "This is a guy who wants to be caught with his hand in the cookie jar, and have us love him for it anyway. There was this expression that's one of his favorites. It's that hand-in-the-cookie-jar, love-me-Mommy-because-I'm-a-rascal look."

The source for the above quote was Gladwell.com's "Annals of Psychology"

I sure wish some experts would take a look at the videotape of Clinton's finger waving speech. I remember being convinced of seeing fleeting facial expressions of Clinton smirking that he had fooled so many then rapidly trying to conceal it by tightening his jaw as he exited the room. It all happened quick.

For those wondering why I bother to print this 'water under the bridge stuff', I can't help it, I was a communication major. :)

Speaking of smirking, that is but one of the reasons which I have less than complete faith in Bush and his pledges of conservatism made during the South Carolina primaries. To me his face screamed he was a man conservatives could not trust.

Latest Islamist Lie: That the Twin Towers were blown up from the inside.

Australia's only Armored Regiment went 5 years without training using it's Armored vehicles in simulated combat.

Plans for the next training exercise using their armor is now planned for 2007. That is a whole generation of corporals and sergeants who don't have a clue about using armor in combat. A person could get the idea that the Australians, like the Europeans, are not serious about self-defense. Story from Strategypage.com 08-15-02.

Janes.com asks its readers today to remember who the critics of the coming war on Iraq are:

They are the people who predicted Armageddon in all recent conflicts. The critics claimed a decade ago that the war to remove Saddam from Kuwait would last 'for decades'; its most intensive phase lasted less than a month. They also said that 'huge numbers' of Western soldiers would be killed. In fact, hundreds died. They predicted that Saddam's Republican Guards would 'fight to the end'; in fact, they ran away.

No Conservatives Need Sign Up advises the University of California at Berkeley English Department:

Undergraduates at the University of California at Berkeley looking to fulfill their requirement in writing and composition have several options—if they’re liberal, that is. The instructor teaching "The Politics and Poetics of the Palestinian Resistance" made it very clear that conservatives are not welcome in his class.

Prison Fellowship president Mark Earley goes on to make some interesting points about "Postmodernism and Academic Freedom".

Christians need to understand that there is something else going on besides the obvious violation of academic freedom. The indoctrination and political correctness we’re witnessing on college campuses is the product of the postmodern worldview that dominates the academy we call universities.

The postmodern worldview denies that there is such a thing as truth: historical, moral, or otherwise. It denies that truth exists independently of our perspectives and interests.

This being the case, the truth of any given statement is merely a function of power. It is something that is imposed on another person or group, not something that is discerned or discovered.

In a worldview where there is no truth, only power, hearing opposing points of view is unnecessary since teaching is no longer about the exchange of ideas. The goal is to impose the instructor’s views on the students—in other words, indoctrination.

Academic freedom is only possible when you believe that there’s such a thing as truth. If you don’t, no amount of oversight over class descriptions will change what goes on inside our classrooms.

US money goes to build Palestinian schools named after terrorists:

Excerpt from Palestinian Media Watch,

One of the ways a society teaches its children values is by glorifying chosen individuals. The PA as policy continues to glorify as heroes, terrorists who have killed the greatest number of Israelis, especially in educational structures for children.

Dalal Mughrabi is the woman terrorist who participated in the murder of 36 Israelis and an American nature photographer, Gail Ruban, in 1978. A girls’ high school named for the terrorist - “The Dalal Mughrabi School” - is now being renovated with money from USAID - through ANERA (American Near East Refugee Aid). A school named after a terrorist promotes murder and terrorism as positive values to children in general, and especially to those children studying in that school. US money is helping to support an educational structure that is inherently promoting terrorism and glorifying the murderer of an American.

Reforming education should start at the foundation, where it counts the most. It is a reform that no government can legislate:

Why do kids not perform well in school? Is it because there is not enough money going into education? NOT!

The reason kids are not doing well is because their parents do not take the time to get involved in their child's life and look after their child's best interests. Too many parents are to involved looking after their own foolishness. Foolishness such as:

1: Not showing your kids by your actions that you love them and think of them, giving them encouragement and support.
2: Drugs and tolerance of others who do drugs (I think drugs in this country should be handled Singapore style)
3: Setting poor examples for their children through crime, a foul mouth, etc
4: Failure to properly discipline the kids and/or let the kids run the household
5: Supporting tax policies that encourage couples to not get married
6: Giving no stigma to those parents who sire children out of wedlock, (the kid should be loved by all)
7: Not doing enough to track down deadbeat Dads.

With the proper foundation laid at home, kids will come to school ready and wanting to learn. The PC crowd doesn't want to talk about the above cause it would mean holding people responsible for their actions. Democrats need a permament underclass demanding government benefits to vote them into power, so don't look for them to make any efforts to genuinely improve education any time soon.

Few Democrats will ever admit that the reason many private schools can better educate kids with less money than nearby public schools is that the kids attending the private schools come to school with a better attitude infused in them by parents who for the most part teach them to value their education. You can pour all the money you want into underperforming schools, but if the children attending have not been instilled with an appreciation for learning and good manners, then all you really have is a glorified baby sitting service, and the test results of many public schools prove my point. The school becomes a baby sitting service by dumbing down its curricula to a level low enough that even their best students have a difficult time getting through their first year of college, even with a remedial education effort given by their college choice.

It is these best students in the underperforming schools that are hurt the most by being trapped in these schools. When a kid is surrounded by peers who daily send him or her the message that education is not that important, it can't help but to have a negative effect on 'many' of them, such that they never achieve their full potential in the underperforming public schools. These students can be helped now with vouchers. See the list above for what needs to be done for the other students, and that list starts at home. The political rub for teacher performance comes when the parents of these kids refuse to take responsibility for their poor choices in life relating to raising their kids.

Social promotions for these unprepared students must come to a stop. Liberals afraid of hurting a child's self esteem only further hurt the child by pushing him or her into grade levels they are not prepared for. Eventually all the self esteem counseling sessions by teachers count for nothing when the child gets old enough to realize that he or she can't get a good job because of a poor education. Teaching children self esteem only robs them from precious time needed to teach them the fundamentals of reading, writing, arithmetic, and science.

A question for apologists of Palestinian terrorism (typically liberals or EU anti-semites):

Prior to 1967 - when most Arabs were already screaming for Israel´s "annihilation" and "liquidation" - there were no "Palestinian territories" under Israeli control.

Exactly what was the Palestine Liberation Organization and the Arab world in general seeking to "liberate" between 1948 and 1967, when Gaza was held illegally by Egypt and Judea/Samaria (West Bank) by Jordan?

Apologists of Palestinian terrorism need to either get real, or admit they wish to see the destruction of Israel.

A list of information resources implicating Iraq in sponsoring terrorist attacks on America.

The 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center:

The 9-11 attack on the WTC. More comment on 9-11 attack.

After the 9-11 attack the Czech prime minister informs Washington that Atta met twice with Iraqi intelligence officer.

Anonymous
sources in Washington later deny that these meetings took place.

But on June 4th, 2002, a leading Czech official reaffirms that they have records of Atta meeting with Iraqi intelligence.

On June 10, 2002, a Czech official says he expelled Iraqi envoy after the Atta meeting with an Iraqi agent.

For the Bush administration to acknowledge that Atta meeting with an Iraqi agent as fact would be a clear "casus belli", calling for an immediate military response.
Lately the Bush administration has started to give new life to the alleged Atta meeting in Prague with the Iraqi agent. Would Bush have had reason to initially cast doubt on the story with anonymous sources? I believe so. Think about it...

At the time that story broke, if not denied, Bush would have felt tremendous pressure for a quick attack on Iraq, something the military was not prepared, having used up most of it's stocks of precision weapons in Afghanistan, and the logistics involved in moving a large invasion force into the area without stimulating a preemptive attack from the Iraqis. Only now, stocks replenished, new bases built, larger forces in place, can Bush bring out the Atta meeting with an Iraqi agent as fact, and he should make better use of making this meeting known when making his case to the American people for the coming attack on Iraq.

UPDATE 08-14-02: Zachary Barbera brings attention to an article in News Max which points out evidence linking Iraq to the 9-11 attacks, all of which the media and the Bush Administration seem to have forgotten.

What would you do? Asks Tom Barrett in his opinion piece "Iraq Attack":

You're stranded on a desert island with your family. A man who lives on the other side of the island has already killed several people, and now he is threatening to kill your children. There is no law or government of any kind on the island. Your dilemma: Do you wait for him to kill one of your children, and then retaliate? Or do you kill him before he can kill again?

The United States is stranded on Planet Earth. A guy named Saddam Hussein has already killed tens of thousands of his own people, and now he is financing the very terrorists who killed thousands of Americans. "International law" is a joke. The UN is totally ineffectual and the majority of its member states either support terrorism or are terrorist states themselves. Our president's dilemma: Should he wait until Saddam unleashes the chemical and biological weapons he already owns (or finishes developing and then uses nuclear weapons), and then retaliate in kind? Or should we stop him before he can murder hundreds of thousands of American civilians or allies?

The above is just a teaser, read his entire post if you like what you see.

The Democratic Party's Education Policy is all about...

making the Teachers' Unions happy by employing more teachers at higher pay.

Hmm, if I were a teacher (subsitute most any other job if you like), what would I want? ~thinking, thinking~ OK, My Demands:

I want higher pay.

I want a better, cleaner, more prestigious looking workplace (new buildings)

I want the boss to hire more people so I don't have to do as much (smaller classes).

I want more time for less rigorously demanding work.... less productive work (like self esteem classes.... Uh HELLO school boards, educrats, and teachers, kids would have more self esteem if you would teach them how to read and do math, self esteem comes from knowing they can do well, not from being able to IMAGINE they are doing well, reality will sooner or later catch up with them).

Meanwhile other teachers and kids here in this country and around the world do with less and accomplish more. Go Figure.

Forgot to say all my demands are for the kids!!

Now send me your tax dollars, I want a new car :)

It gets worse, artificially created teacher shortages are used by teachers' unions to argue for higher pay. Read how in the latest report from the Department of Education, "Meeting the Highly Qualified Teachers Challenge".

Be sure to read Thomas Sowell's commentary about that same report too.

Pentagon officials listened to an analyst's suggestion this week for an independent "Muslim Republic of East Arabia":

From the USA Today, "Anti-Saudi arguments get heard, Critics want U.S. to play hardball"

In public, the Bush administration insists that Saudi Arabia is a trusted ally in the war against terrorism. But in private, the administration is hearing from critics who support radical changes in U.S. policy, including ''liberating'' the Saudi province that contains its oil fields.

Max Singer, a founder of the conservative Hudson Institute, said he suggested to Pentagon officials this week that the United States plan an independent ''Muslim Republic of East Arabia'' if the Saudi government does not stop funding schools that teach hatred of the United States.

It is my sincere hope that the Bush administration is listening with an open mind, no matter what Bush is saying in public.

Britain becoming more like America?

From the Washington Post, "Britannia Waives Old Social Rules", New Upper Crust Must Achieve Status, Not Inherit It.

The stars of the social circuit are no longer the debutante daughters of the great families but rather CEOs, athletes and TV personalities. The Season has become a celebration of a new British class system in which status is earned, not inherited.

DUH

Dumbest headline of the day from monday edition of the New York Times:

"Rumsfeld Weighs Covert Activities by Military Units"

What's next?..... Pentagon busy making warplans? Legislators looking out for the best interests of the country?

Nevermind that last one. Too many legislators pandering for special interests with financial and/or regulatory favors for that to happen anytime soon.

And looking at it another way, if the NY Times were to headline what I crossed out, you could bet whatever Congress were up to, it would NOT be for the best of the country. :)

Young Iranians seriously wounded by Arab mercenaries in pre-revolutionary Iran.

From the Student Movement Coordination Committee for Democracy in Iran:

Several young Iranians who were on their way back to home from a party, in the early hours of Friday, were stopped, beaten and seriously wounded by a team of the Islamic regime's foreign mercenaries.

The brutality used by these mercenaries is subject to hot popular discussions and many Iranians are swearing about their collective hanging as soon as the regime collapse.
